Overview

Developed in collaboration with the Jamaican Canadian Association (JCA), this project addressed the challenge of strengthening the organization’s financial sustainability while preserving its role as a cultural and community hub. Like many community organizations, JCA faced financial pressures during the COVID-19 pandemic while seeking to continue its cultural programming and services.

Working closely with the client, our team analyzed JCA’s existing business model and explored opportunities to diversify its revenue streams. The resulting strategic roadmap proposed a redesigned revenue model centred on tiered memberships, community co-creation activities, and a value-exchange marketplace, supported by an implementation roadmap and theory of change.
